Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dental Billing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating seamless billing experiences for patients. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will play a critical role in managing our patient financial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage Dental Claims: Prepare and submit dental claims daily, including detailed narratives and necessary attachments to expedite payment.
• Posting Payments: Accurately post payments from both patients and insurance companies.
• Claims Tracing/Follow-Up: Investigate unpaid or denied claims and collaborate with insurers to resolve issues promptly.
• Patient Support: Send patient statements and assist with billing inquiries, explaining insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Recordkeeping: Run reports and maintain precise and up-to-date patient billing records for compliance.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with 2-3 office teams to ensure efficient AR processes and revenue cycle operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in dental coding and billing, with proficiency in Dentrix, Excel, and (Denticon a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
